Terms of Service

1. Platform Description

Baytik ("the Platform") is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) booking management tool designed for property brokers and hosts in Kuwait. The Platform enables brokers to manage their property listings, handle booking requests, and communicate with potential guests.

2. Important Disclaimer

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The Platform is solely a booking coordination and management tool
• We do not process, hold, or transfer any booking payments
• We are not responsible for any disputes regarding payments, refunds, property conditions, or the actual stay experience
• All financial arrangements are solely between the host/broker and the guest

3. User Responsibilities

For Brokers/Hosts:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date property information
• Respond to booking requests in a timely manner
• Handle all payment collection and refunds directly with guests
• Comply with all local laws and regulations regarding property rentals
• Maintain proper insurance for their properties

For Guests:

• Provide accurate contact information for booking requests
• Communicate directly with hosts regarding payments and terms
• Understand that booking confirmations are subject to payment completion with the host

4. Booking Hold System

When a guest submits a booking request, the dates are temporarily held (soft hold) to prevent double bookings. This hold expires automatically if not confirmed by the broker within the specified time period. The hold does not constitute a confirmed booking.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Platform shall not be liable for:

• Any disputes between hosts and guests
• Property conditions, amenities, or the quality of the stay
• Payment disputes, fraud, or financial losses
• Cancellations, no-shows, or booking issues
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

6. Subscription and Fees

Brokers pay a subscription fee to use the Platform. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies will be provided separately. The Platform reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Platform.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
